Do I need to list all available technologies in the feed?All technologies which are currently available for licensing must be included in the XML file. As new technologies become available, they should simply be appended to the file, and older entries should NOT be expired from the file unless they are no longer available for licensing.How do I remove a listing?To remove a given technology from the list, simply remove it from the XML file. Clients which process the feed will drop the listing the next time they fetch it.How do I update/change a listing?To update a listing, such as to add a recently-granted patent, make the necessary changes to the listing and update its PUBLISHEDDATE field with the date that the changes were made. Clients which process the feed will update their local cache of the listing the next time they fetch the feed.How does contact information work?If a technology listing includes a CONTACTINFO field, that contact information is displayed for the technology. If a CONTACTINFO field is not provided for a technology, then the DEFAULTCONTACT block for the feed is used as the contact info for the technology. |
